Frosted Films and Manifestations

Glass manifestation primarily relates to workplace health and safety, with legislation designed to prevent individuals from accidentally walking into glass surfaces. This is achieved by visually distinguishing the glass or windows from the background. By strategically placing markings on the glazing, the glass becomes more visible, reducing the risk of accidents. According to building regulations, manifestation should be applied to areas referred to as "critical locations," which may include floor-to-ceiling windows, glass entrance doors, glass screens, or decorative glass partitions.

Manifestation markings should be positioned at two specific height ranges: between 850mm and 1000mm, and between 1400mm and 1600mm above the floor. The material used for these markings must create a contrast with the glass, ensuring visibility while still allowing the background to be seen through the glass.

Frosted Films

Frosting is the process of applying a frosted film to glass surfaces, to provide 2-way privacy. It obscures visibility while still allowing light to pass through. This is commonly done for privacy, safety, or decorative purposes, and can be applied to windows, doors, or partitions in both residential and commercial settings.

Privacy: Frosted windows prevent people from seeing through the glass, offering privacy for offices, bathrooms, meeting rooms, or homes.

Aesthetic Appeal: Frosted glass can enhance the look of a space by adding a sleek, modern touch. It can be used for decorative purposes, such as incorporating custom patterns or designs into the frosted surface.

Window frost is available in various types, from complete coverage to partial frosting or custom designs. Different levels of opaqueness are also on offer. It's a versatile solution for creating privacy, improving safety, and enhancing the overall design of a space.
